Zach Fricke

Zach Fricke is a certified prosthetist-orthotist at the Coralville office of Clark & Associates. He demonstrates a high level of enthusiasm and drive for achieving functional goals that patients truly appreciate.

Zach was born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa. From an early age, he was involved in many team sports, especially his favorite sport, baseball. A great work ethic and going above and beyond was instilled in him throughout his development in sports. Zach had the opportunity to travel the world playing baseball and was fortunate enough to play at The University of Iowa. Zach feels these experiences have helped him in his everyday practice connecting with patients from all backgrounds. He has adapted this team first approach by working directly with the physicians, therapist, and family to provide great outcomes for his patients.

Zach has Experience working with above and below the knee amputees of all ages and activity levels. He became interested in the Prosthetics and Orthotics field at a young age, motivated to make a lasting difference and positive impact on the lives of those who have experienced setbacks in their functionality. Zach is especially interested and qualified in working with pediatric orthotic and prosthetic patients.

Zach brings to Clark and Associates a vast knowledge of new technologies and techniques. In his daily practice with amputees, he uses 3D scanning CAD CAM technology to provide the most accurate and highest quality results.

Zach is a 2018 Graduate of The University of Iowa with a degree in Health and Human Physiology. He earned a Master of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics from the University of Pittsburgh in 2020 and completed his residency at American Prosthetics and Orthotics. Zach is fully certified and licensed and serves patients in Coralville and the greater Iowa City area. He and his wife Olivia have one child, Cooper.
