Nick Ruppenthal

Board Eligible Certified Prosthetist & Orthotist

Nick Ruppenthal joined the Clark & Associates team of practitioners in the fall of 2025 as a Board Eligible Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO). Nick provides patient care in both the Cedar Rapids and Coralville locations.

Originally from Arizona, Nick has lived in several states including Idaho, Pennsylvania and now Iowa. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University–Idaho and discovered the field of orthotics and prosthetics following a knee injury that lead him to a consultation with an Orthotist. Nick went on to earn his Master’s Degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics from Salus University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During his studies, he volunteered at Camp No Limits, a summer camp for children with limb differences, and spent time in Kenya providing prosthetic care to children in need.

A proud member of the U.S. Army Reserves, Nick values service both personally and professionally. As a clinician, he strives to provide exceptional care and help patients achieve the quality of life they desire. Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending time outdoors—especially snowboarding—and cherishes time with his wife, Hannah, and their two children, Reggie and Harper.
